Compatibility
Machines: All sizes and models of the AltMill are compatible with our ATC. Our ATC is not compatible with third-party CNC machines.
Reduction in Machine Travel (Y-axis):
5.3″ from the back of the machine, accounting for clearance for the Clear Cut Dust Shoe.
Remaining Machine Travel (Y-axis):
- 2×4: 20.3″
- 4×4: 43.5″
- 4×8: 99″
Note that the tool rack is detachable, so it can be removed to free up the full cutting area.
Minimum Requirements

ATC Power: Air manifold, pressure and temperature sensors utilize the SLB-EXT’s existing power supply.
Total System Power:
3 separate electrical circuits, to provide:
- 110 VAC 15A single phase for the AltMill (SLB-EXT with ATC hookup), dust collection, and computer
- 220 VAC 15A single phase for the 2.2KW spindle
- 110 or 220 VAC 15A single phase for your air compressor
Customer Supplied Air Compressor
