The AltMill is compatible with the Sienci Labs 7W LaserBeam System. You can find detailed instructions on how to set up your LaserBeam for the AltMill at the LaserBeam knowledge base.
A few notes:
- If you wish to run all the wiring through the AltMill drag chain, you will need longer cables than the ones provided in the LaserBeam kit. We are working on releasing this out to you as soon as we can. Otherwise shorter cables can be run outside of the drag chain, fastened with zip ties.
- You may need to reduce the maximum speeds ($110 and $111) to 5000 mm/min to efficiently run the LaserBeam, which is lower than the default settings. This can be changed in the Firmware tool on gSender.
